Theatre
Christie’s latest role was playing Queen Elenora in UnTitled Company’s third full length production, ‘Astoria’. Prior to that she played the iconic Shirley MacLaine in the premiere of ‘Welcome To The Grand’, a jazz theatre production celebrating 100 years of cabaret. Christie also shined as a leading actress in ‘How To Solve A Problem Like Murder’, an immersive phenomenon currently entering its fifth season, and ‘1.9.2.7’, a smash hit 1920s immersive prohibition production.
Commercial
Christie has worked commercially with Jack Whitehall on his 2019 Netflix Christmas Special, and has made appearances on The Voice and in Nickelodeon television specials. Other TV credits include‘Package Deal’, ‘Warehouse 13’, and ER Mishaps. Commercially, Christie has worked with Ikea and Equinox Fitness this past year. Other film credits include ‘The Waltz’ which went on to become a finalist at the Toronto Short Film Festival.
Company
Christie has worked extensively with Lukas McFarlane’s company, UnTitled. In the past three years, Christie has played a principle role in the company’s last three major projects, ‘Exposed’, ‘The Suffocating Truth’, and ‘Astoria’. She has also worked with UnCorked Theatre on their last five theatre productions, making herself an irreplaceable and invaluable member of the company.
Christie studied film with American acting coach Michael Duvall (Instinctual Acting) for the past two and a half years, and is currently studying Meisner technique with international acting coach Scott Williams (Impulse Acting). She looks forward to being a vehicle for other storytellers to share their work for years to come.
